    The 3kw, 15 litre Kuroma pressure fryer, will cook up to 2.2 kg of chicken or 12 – 15 pieces of chicken depending on the cuts.

  • How long does it take to cook the chicken?

    12 to 15 minutes.

  • What is the normal temperature of the oil to cook at?

    The oil temperature should be 165 degrees, or more.

  • Does the Kuroma pressure fryer use a normal plug?

    The Kuroma pressure fryer requires a 3kw 220/240 volt 50 or 60 hz single phase electrical supply.

  • Can the Kuroma pressure fryer be used abroad?

    Yes, but not in the USA or Canada. We will fit a suitable plug for your electrical supply in your country.

  • What number do I put the thermostat at?

    Turn the thermostat to 7.

  • How long does it take to heat the oil?

    Heating up the oil from cold may take 30 minutes.

  • How long should I prepare the breading mix for?

    The breading mix sticks better if done at least 20 minutes before frying.

  • Can I get replacement parts?

    Yes. Just contact the office and they will be more than happy to help.

  • How long does it take for the delivery of spares?

    Spares are normally delivered next working day.

  • How much oil do I use?

    Only fill to the oil level mark on the inside of the pot. (never overfill with oil & never use solid fats)
